A newly established production house – Waterboi Productions – & very old friend of mine Kieran, was looking for a someone to design his logo.
Kieran had quite a specific brief in that he wanted the ‘WB’ initials to feature as the main logo mark, combined with the full name of the brand underneath. The mark had to represent music, and a refined sense of style – i.e. no ‘graffiti’ type lettering and other cliché graphics.
Both Kieran & I are really happy with the final design – and I also turned the ‘A’ element from the lettering into a repeating pattern for use in his branding! See the images below for an idea of the design process and how it came together.
